San Diego, CA - December 10th 2024 - Fun Time GO! Has launched their third Kickstarter campaign, and it’s already making waves!
SKRnRDFTG: Sequoia Sweet is a gorgeous, 48-page hardcover graphic novella in full color! Featuring the incredible artistic talents of Rolando Mallada on interiors with a host of pinups and limited-edition dust jacket covers from some of the top comic artists working in the industry today, including Netho Diaz, Bart Sears and Ludo Lullabi! This lush, over-sized book (think magazine size) features lay-flat & sewn-in binding upgrades, spot varnish, and enhanced paper stocks creating a beautiful, long-lasting package that will look INCREDIBLE while you read it and on your book shelf.
This campaign has more to offer than just a high-quality graphic novella. Backers can get a behind-the-scenes look into the making of Sequoia Sweet with the “Locker Room: Game Face” bonus comic. Writer: David Hedgecock – Former Editor-in-Chief of the 4th largest comic & graphic novel publisher in North America, David is an Eisner award nominated publisher and editor who has worked with talent the likes of William Gibson, Mark Waid, Walter Simonson, Whilce Portacio, Cullen Bunn, and Tradd Moore to name a very few.
Artist: Rolando Mallada – Seasoned industry veteran who can do it all. A breakout talent who has yet to really get the breakout hit he deserves. An “artist’s artist”, Rolando has garnered multiple awards in his native country of Uruguay.
Cover Artists: From Bart Sears to Netho Diaz, every cover artist is a working, award winning, industry veteran with substantial fan followings.
Letterer/Designer: Deron Bennet is an Eisner award winning letterer and book designer.
Editor: Industry veteran, Chase Marotz, career spans over a decade working on the biggest properties in the industry from Star Trek to Ghostbusters.
